JUDGEMENTS CAN BE DIRECTLY ENFORCED IN THE EU WITHOUT ANY EXEQUATUR

Today the EU Regulation no. 1215/2012 on jurisdiction and enforcement of judgments enters into force.
A judgment given in another Member State shall now be enforceable in Italy without having to ask to the Court of Appeals the declaration of enforceability provided by Regulation 44/2001.

LEGAL INTEREST DOWN TO 0.5%

Starting from 1st January 2015 the legal interest rate according to article 1284 of Italian civil code has been reduced to 0.5%
